Ok, so a little late with this review as we are now on set three of this ‘build a figure’ range for this year, but better late than never on set two I say. Now, I am in a less compulsive phase of my collecting hobby, as such this is a lovely addition to the range/my collection. It’s pure crazy that we are getting sets of this quality, for a show that isn’t on TV and unlikely to be again for quite some time; amazing.

THE REVIEW

What I think about this set

Its a brilliant set, the whole packaging is beautiful, brash and bold 15th Doctor deco, the 15th Doctor next to the bright and mental Dug a doo and Mr Ring a Ding! The likeness of Ncuti Gatwa is unbelievable, with a lovely variant of his outfit (not as though I feel the need to have all figure variants now; one is enough for me). It’s a lovely likeness, the definitive version for me. Then there is Mr Ring a Ding, bbloody marvellous, fantastic likeness which is perfect for me. There have been criticisms of the scale but as he goes from tiny to massive in Lux this isnt an issue for me. Dug a Doo is a silly thing but fun to have, not essential by any stretch of the imagination but nice to have. Lovely set.

Rating: 5 out of 5 – I will say the same thing as my review for set 1, Character Options (and Al Dewar specifically) have completely smashed the second set in the 2026 vortex figures…which continues to be brilliant!
